100mg Alpha Lipoic Acid, 50mg Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) RI: 63%

Standard dose: 1 time 1 capsule per day with meals

Does not contain: Soy, Gluten, Milk (including lactose), Sugar, Preservatives, Synthetic fragrances, colors and flavors, Yeast

Warnings: Avoid use during pregnancy and lactation (due to insufficient data). Do not give alpha-lipoic acid in high doses to patients in whom (severe) thiamine deficiency is suspected. In these patients also give thiamine before treatment.

Side effects: Allergic skin conditions can occur as a result of taking alpha lipoic acid. In diabetics, be alert to hypoglycemia, due to improved glucose utilization. Due to the (heavy) metal chelating properties, watch out for possible mineral deficiencies with long-term use of alpha-lipoic acid. Such deficiencies have never been observed so far and, moreover, the use of Multi-Mins in addition to alpha-lipoic acid is sufficient to prevent mineral deficiencies.
